NUTRITIONAL COMPOSITION

If you are eating a varied, mixed diet alongside a daily serving of Ensure Max Protein, you are unlikely to need to take a multi-vitamin supplement as well.

However, a vitamin and mineral supplement providing 100% of your needs plus a daily serving of Ensure Max Protein will not exceed maximum recommended levels of vitamins and minerals. Remember you will be getting vitamins and minerals from the regular drinks and food in your diet too.

Caveats below:

  • Need to establish that is it an over the counter vitamin and mineral supplement, and not prescribed by a GP – if this is the case they need to speak with their GP.
  • Need to establish if pregnant. Advice is that women in the UK who are, or might become, pregnant do not take supplements containing vitamin A unless advised by a doctor.

Ensure Max Protein is an excellent source of protein with all 9 essential amino acids, providing 30g of protein per serving. Ensure Max Protein can be enjoyed as part of a varied diet alongside protein intake from meals and additional foods.

Artificial sweeteners are used as an alternative to sweeten foods and are low calorie or calorie-free. Ensure Max Protein contains sucralose (E955) and acesulphame (E950) which are found in a wide range of food and drink products.1

All sweeteners in the EU undergo a rigorous safety assessment by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) before they can be used in food and drink.2

We recommend that Ensure Max Protein is used alongside or between meals and not to exceed the recommended intake of one 330ml serving per day.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Ensure Max Protein is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
